Plot/Description: Since humans first came upon the land, they were always imagining. This was what set them apart from the other creatures. The brain, or mind, that created and destroyed within one convenient place and without doing anything to the outside world. There, humans retreated from others and were able to visit with themselves; something which ordinary creatures could never achieve.
"Historians tell us that history will repeat itself."
Perhaps it is true. History will repeat itself. The end of the world, so to speak. Dinosaurs were once wiped off the earth and the history then might become the future of now. Either way, there is no telling whether or not it's true. It could all be a tale. And where would humans be?
"Do or die."
They thought that history would repeat itself. Whether or not it's true, everyone has chosen a side. All of them believe, though no one knows if it will truly come. Some have gone mad thinking on it. Most think they must do certain tasks to stop it. Others think that they must do certain tasks to bring the end closer them. Then, there are those that stop and watch everyone scurry, laughing at nonsensical things.
"There is no time like the present."
7462 AD. Earth wiped off all remnants of humankind from the 2000s long ago. Already, humans have evolved and are taking over again. But much faster, since they have done so 'before'. The scientists have already been experimenting and their experiments have evolved too quickly to be contained. Four new species, besides the humans that they run next to, are abound. Werewolves, vampires, karpathians, and elementals. Each are feared from the others and all are being chased doen by another. The cycle is never ending, this circle of death.
Is the end really upon us? Will the wars between species die down? Will the humans stop creating?

Activity: Low, the site just opened a few minutes ago.
Years have passed since Ichigo Kurosaki still lived with Rukia Kuchiki. After they left the soul society, a great schism occured. The war included every shinigami (soul reaper) and there were but two sides. One for closing away the soul society forever and one to open the doors wide. The Hollows and part-Hollows fought to close the doors so that they would have more freedom in the human world, but many shinigami fought to open them.
The battles after that were bloody and long. No one knew when it would stop. In the midst of it, two children were born. The offspring of Rukia and Ichigo. They watched as their parents sacrificed themselves to stop the bloody chaos. They took sides, one for each side. And now, they fight against each other.
With no king in control, the soul society is in chaos. Shinigami mix with the dearly departed while Hollows are left to roam rather freely. Most of the Hollows are destroyed by the few faithful shinigami left. The soul society now, however, has infiltrated the human world and many are living among those in Karakura Town. Captains are still in control, however, and they try their best to keep the entire Seireitei in peace.
Gone is the time of Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki. Ring in the new years.

Yes, Drifted Souls does need a few Mods and G-Mods. The basis is on a first come, first serve mode. However, the G-Mod is for me to decide. I'd like to have a Mod or G-Mod that is good with graphics and codes and the like. I'm pretty trashy with that sort of stuff.

This is only a list of the species of creatures we have created so far. More will be added, so please keep checking back here.
Three Main Species
Vampires
Few 'pures' of this species exist anymore. Those who do take pride in their speciation.
Strenghts:
Can teleport themselves a distance away from their former position. They become shadows and flit along the ground to do so. (variations may apply) Have an incredible strength, which only progresses as they grow older. Live from ages 1 - 5,000 (5,000 being a senior) That's all that's added, so far . . .
Weaknesses:
Cannot stay in bright, hot sun for too long. The species begins to boil from the inside out. Can die from a piercing through the heart. So, they guard their hearts possessively. Can only not break from bonds that are made of pure silver. Pure silver dissolves the species. That's all that's added, so far . . .
Usual Personality:
They prefer darkness to sunlight. Usually have a pet of some kind that is dark. A bat or crow, perhaps. Enjoy candlelight very much, but excessive exposure causes damage to the skin. Usually are a bit arrogant. That's all that's added, so far . . .
Elementals
Even fewer 'pures' of this species exist anymore. Few want to show that they are elementals anymore and so strive to hide it from others, pretending they are simply elves.
Strenghts:
Can fully control one element. (wind, earth, water, fire) Can create weapons or other objects from their element. Live from ages 1 - 300 (300 being a senior) That's all that's added, so far . . .
Weaknesses:
Each element has a weakness from another. Fire's weakness - water Water's weakness - earth Earth's weakness - wind Wind's weakness - fire That's all that's added, so far . . .
Usual Personality:
These are not timid, persay, but not the most outgoing. Usually moody or quiet, they keep to themselves. Stay in their human form. That's all that's added, so far . . .
Werewolves
More than the vampires and the elementals, werewolves are still not as common as you'd think.
Strenghts:
May become a werewolf at will. Their strength grows with the moon. If the moon is rounder and more full, their strength is the same. If the moon wanes, so does their strength. Live from ages 1 - 90 (90 being a senior. A human lifespan) Have the increased senses of a wolf, even in their human form. That's all that's added, so far . . .
Weaknesses:
Cannot stay in bright, hot sun, as a werewolf, for too long. Can be chained and are not as strong as vampires. Respond to meat and prey, just as any wolf would. That's all that's added, so far . . .
Usual Personality:
They prefer evening to any other time of day. They do not usually have pets, as those are killed. Werewolves love to be in control and manage to control their fiery tempers as well. Can be either shy, or completely outgoing. That's all that's added, so far . . .

Each of the three trains look the same. The latest technology and still they break down every once in a while. They all have the same, silver chrome outside. The 'speed' trains, they call them. The inside is leather and has many compartments for the students and faculty convenience. They all seat as many students as there need be, but there are usually not enough compartments for each to have their own. Balancing all the species, after all, is what the Academy is intended to do.
When one looks outside the large windows, one sees the beautiful view particular to that region.
From the Montagna, passengers see beautiful mountains. Vast regions are spread before them and served on a silver platter. Trees everywhere and the mountains around them are a fresh sight to see.
From the Selva, passengers can glimpse the trees and darkness that surrounds them. Flits of the rivers and waterfalls that pass by are also noticable. Leaves scatter the ground, in fall, and snow may cover the ground in the winter.
From the Piatto, passengers glimpse the plains. Wide blue skies and vast lands that seem to go on forever. Lakes are widely known in this region, for their sparkling waters. Rivers and streams thrive, while a few trees are scattered.
However, closer toward the Academy, one can see that the three seemingly different lands merge together. The Academy includes all of them.

Under no account will I ever say that the idea of the magic included in this RPG was created by me. I can honestly say that I used the same principles of magic as J.K. Rowling.
I do, however, fully claim the making of Karpathians. They are my creation, wtih the little idea of elite beings from the Bible.
This RPG is rated PG 13, for light sexual content (i.e. kissing, hugging, cuddling) and language (i.e. d**nit, hell, f*ck). Please consider this when, and if, you apply.
In addition, we recommend this site for Beginners - Advanced. I, for one, usually RP on Advanced sites. But it's nice to make just four lined posts every now and then as well.
Main Text:
In Character
When you post, at least 3 sentences please. Also, do not complain to me that this is too long. I have seen children write longer posts than this with ease.
Always post in Third Person Narrative. Makes it easier for everyone.
Cursing is allowed, but not to the extremities. d**nit and hell are perfectly usable as they are. However, for more intense language, please use italics.
Use quotation marks when your character speaks, please. They are so much more understandable rather than different colors. " and " are some of the writer's best friends.
For thoughts of your character, please use italics**.
Proper spelling! Use spellcheck, or grab a dictionary. If you mess up every now and then, that's fine. Just read it over afterwards to correct your mistakes! That's what the Edit button is there for!
Out of Character
Any racism, bullying, harrassing, illegal advertising, or sexualism and I will beat you with a stick. Literally. Oh, and ban you forever.
Have a problem with another member? Do not PM them 'hate e-mails'. Please see an Admins for further actions. We will take care of it for you.
Only 1 character for 1 account. As annoying as I know this is, please follow the rule. It makes it easier on everyone to know who you're RPing with and also, we'd like to make sure that we keep track of everyone as well.
You may have up to 2 characters, 2 accounts. For any more than that, PM the Admins. We will decide on whether or not you really can have another character. If you create another without consent from any of the Admins, or Mods, then we will warn you and your character shall be deleted. Honestly, we will know.
Please, keep you font size, colors, siggies, avatars, etc a reasonable size. We do not want any signatures that stretch the board. If it stretches it larger than you know it is supposed to be, it's too big.

Please bear in mind that most of the members around are not adults. If you mess up once or twice, we'll let you off the hook. Don't worry about it too badly. These rules are not that hard to follow.

Also, at any time, these rules can be updated, edited, and whatnot. If they are, a post will be made in the Newspaper Stand. It would be a great idea to check back here once a month, just to see how the rules are coming along.
